Ambric is developing a next-generation programmable, massively-parallel array of hundreds of processors on a chip, which will replace digital signal processors and FPGAs. The breakthrough programming model enables engineers to easily define an application’s structure, write straightforward single-threaded code for each structural object, and auto-map the software right into the chip, with teraOPS-class performance. It is a unique technology that will dramatically improve design cycles and costs of complex embedded systems.
